Medical City Heart and Spine Hospitals seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform radiographic procedures under a Nuclear Medicine Physician. You will administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate Nuclear Medicine cameras, ensuring safety and accuracy in diagnostics.

Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in Plano, Texas. Texas licensure, ARRT/NM or NMTCB certification, and BLS are required, ACLS within 6 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• TX state nuclear medicine license (MTR) required.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification completed.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform radiographic procedures as appropriate.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform tests in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment; administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Demonstrate radiation safety best practices.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Formation

CAHEA accredited nuclear medicine program

MTR State of Texas license

ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification

NMTCB PET certification

Current American Heart Association BLS

ACLS certification within 6 months
