Job summary

Medical City Dallas in Frisco, TX is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to operate Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician. The role requires independent judgment in radiographic diagnosis and radiopharmaceutical administration.

Qualifications include a Texas MTR license, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification, NMTCB PET preferred, and current BLS; ACLS within 6 months. Full-time daytime schedule with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR State of Texas license.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with professional independence.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per scope of practice.
• Demonstrate radiation safety and quality controls.
• Other duties as assigned.

CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine

MTR Texas license
