Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist for a PRN role to provide a safe, patient‑centered imaging service. You will prepare the patient, operate NM equipment, and ensure high‑quality diagnostic studies in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and ARRT/Nuclear Tech certification with BLS. This role emphasizes patient safety, accuracy, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience; nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech and BLS required (upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Operates Nuclear Medicine equipment to obtain quality studies.
• Verifies patient identity and follows preprocedure verification procedures.
• Maintains infection control and equipment calibration as per policy.
