Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures with emphasis on safety and quality. The role requires ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech and at least one year of clinical experience, plus BLS per hire.

The incumbent will work PRN with potential for full-time hours and access to education through Wellstar CareerCare. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, acquiring high-quality studies, and ensuring patient

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality and patient safety.
• Verify orders, obtain history, and assess contraindications prior to procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients using patient-friendly communication (AIDET).
• Maintain equipment readiness and compliance with infection control policies.
• Restock supplies and assist team to ensure smooth department operations.
