Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and perform a broad range of NM procedures. The role requires setup of imaging equipment, positioning patients, and maintaining high-quality diagnostic studies in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical patient care experience, and ARRT Nuclear Technology or Nuclear Med Tech certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience; nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech required; BLS certification required or instructor status.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to adjust technique to optimize study quality and image clarity.
• Maintains equipment per infection control policies and schedules.
• Verifies patient identity and clinician orders; follows pre- and post-procedure protocols.
