Job summary

Wellstar seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN role. The technologist performs a wide range of nuclear medicine exams, ensuring safe, high-quality imaging and patient care. The role requires independence, critical thinking, and adherence to department procedures.

Education includes ARRT/Nuclear Tech certification; associates in radiologic technology and BLS certification. On-site position with access to Wellstar education programs and career progression.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• 1 year clinical experience in patient care required; Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or Nuclear Medicine Tech certification required upon hire; BLS Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain best study with image quality.
• Set up NM equipment and position patient for procedures.
• Ensure patient identification and safety measures; handle pre/post procedural care.
• Assist with other modalities as needed; respond to emergencies.
