Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals using Nuc Med and/or PET/CT equipment. You will review orders, patient history, and safety protocols while ensuring image quality for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires CNMT certification, NMTCB, and N license within stated timelines. Cross-training and education support are provided, with focus on patient safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Education: College Diploma or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• CNMT within 1 year and NMTCB certification.
• Registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) within 1 year and BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration per protocol.
• Review orders and patient history for medical necessity.
• Ensure imaging quality through appropriate positioning and technical settings.
• Transfer and verify images in PACS and assist radiologists with readings.
• Maintain equipment and safety procedures; support staff and students as needed.
