Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapies using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment. You will coordinate patient flow, review orders, and ensure high-quality imaging in compliance with regulations.

The role requires CNMT and Radiologic Technologist licensure within specified windows, BLS, and a patient-centered approach to accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Certificate of Completion also acceptable.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA) within required timeframe.
• CNMT within 1 year and NMTCB certification within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapy administration using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment.
• Review radiology orders and patient history for medical necessity.
• Ensure imaging quality and proper positioning; critique and optimize studies.
• Transfer and verify image data in PACS; assist Radiologist with readings.
• Maintain imaging equipment and safe patient/workspace environment.
