Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with policy and safety regulations. The role includes case review with radiologists, patient history evaluation, and image transfer through PACS/RIS systems.

You will help maintain equipment, ensure safety, and may train students or staff as needed. The position offers opportunities for growth with CNMT certification within a year and a $5,000 sign-on bonus plus

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography.
• CNMT certification within 1 year.
• Ability to perform diagnostic studies using Nuc Med and/or PET/CT.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration per department protocols.
• Reviews orders and patient history for medical necessity and completeness.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS; communicates results to Radiologist.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
• May instruct students and junior staff; cross-trained in related modalities.
