Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals using Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment. You will review orders, patient history, and ensure imaging quality while maintaining equipment and safety protocols.

Qualified candidates will have radiologic licensure, CNMT within 1 year, and BLS certification. The role includes potential sign-on bonus and relocation support for relocating applicants.

Qualifications

Requires a College Diploma or Certificate of Completion in a related field.
Licenses/certifications include: Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) and CNMT within 1 year, plus BLS.
Specialized knowledge: ability to perform multiple tasks and assess and improve workflow.
Cross-trained in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT as needed.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration per department protocols.
Reviews orders and patient history for medical necessity and accuracy.
Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and submits exams for radiologist review.
Maintains imaging equipment and work area, ensuring safety and compliance.
