Job summary

Candidates should hold a Radiologic Technologist license with CNMT within 1 year; BLS is required. The position supports safety, teaching, and cross-training within the department.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography desired.
• CNMT within 1 year - NMTCB certification required within 1 year or as per policy.
• Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) within 1 year - Varies.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration using Nuc Med and/or PET/CT equipment.
• Reviews radiology orders and patient history to determine medical necessity.
• Ensures imaging quality, proper positioning, and data accuracy.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and provides history for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains imaging equipment and work area, and reports malfunctions promptly.
• Supports safety for patients, staff, and environment and assists in training.
