Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Massachusetts to independently operate nuclear medicine cameras and related equipment for high-quality diagnostic scans. You will follow department protocols and ensure safety, accuracy and patient satisfaction.

Requires ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification and MA radiologic technologist license or registry eligibility, plus BLS. Education includes an associate degree; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate nuclear medicine cameras, computers and related equipment per protocols.
• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine scans with attention to safety and quality.
• Collaborate with radiology team and maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals, calibrate doses and administer to patients per safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment, QC procedures and respond to issues to ensure uptime.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Educate patients and families about the exam and answer questions empathetically.
