Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear Medicine) to operate MRI equipment and produce diagnostic scans, ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy. The role requires preparation of patients and clear communication about procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold MA licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT or NMTCB certification within one year, with a BS in NM Technology or related cert. Experience is preferred and physical demands are noted.

Qualifications

  • Licensed radiologic technologist (Massachusetts) with ARRT or NMTCB CT certification within 1 year of employment.
  • BS in NM Technology preferred or BS with NM Technology certificate preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Scan patients with appropriate technical factors for high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures including transport, positioning, and immobilization.
  • Explain procedures to patients considering physical and emotional needs.
  • Record images as directed for radiologist interpretation and maintain documentation for radioactive materials.
