Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the department of radiology. You will perform and document diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with physicians and technologists to optimize image quality.

The role requires licensure with MA DPH ARRT(N) or NMTCB(CNMT), BLS certification, and experience with PACS and EMR systems. Commitment to ALARA and patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Licensed in Nuclear Medicine Technology by MA DPH ARRT(N) or NMTCB(CNMT) certification.
  • ARRT(CT) certification preferred.
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Experience with PACS, dose management software and EMR.
  • Excellent customer service and communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Verify patient identification per hospital policy.
  • Review procedure orders and imaging protocol.
  • Review and document patient pregnancy/lactation status.
  • Ensure pre-procedure preparation per protocol.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.
