Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• ARRT NM certification and/or NMTCB certification.
• 1–2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Ability to use and learn complex computer systems to process nuclear medicine images and generate reports.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures under radiologist/cardiologist supervision.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures and ensure safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment and oversee inventory.
• Coordinate studies and ensure efficient patient flow within the department.
• Ensure compliance with NRC and USDOT regulations for radioactive materials.
