Job summary

Requirements include a completed accredited Radiology Technology Program, registry eligibility, and MA license/ARRT eligibility within 12 months. BLS is required, with at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program and be registry eligible.
• Education Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology Technology
• Experience Preferred: At least one year
• License: Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license and registry eligible for ARRT (to be obtained within 12 months)
• Basic Life Support Certification required

Responsibilities

• Greets, escorts, assesses, educates and comforts patients while verifying orders and maintaining safety and quality checks.
• Performs exams using ALARA standards and established Radiology protocols.
• Completes diagnostic imaging examinations following Radiologist-approved protocols.
• Enters documentation and charges accurately; stores images in PACS.
• Maintains department records, cleanliness and safety; supports equipment maintenance and supply logistics.
• Coordinates work schedule with supervisor to ensure staffing meets patient and physician needs.
