Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic molecular imaging under supervision. You will ensure patient safety, verify orders, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and process images while maintaining EMR/PACS documentation and quality control.

Required licensure in MA and ARRT/NMTCB certifications; CT, BLS, and CE compliance are also expected. The role emphasizes patient care and collaboration within a hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Licensed in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation Control Program.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB(CNMT) certification required.
• ARRT(CT) certification preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements for certification(s) and state licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient identification per hospital policy.
• Review of procedure order and assigned imaging protocol.
• Review and documentation of patient's pregnancy and lactation status.
• Evaluates patient medical history and pre-procedure preparation.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and CT contrast as required.
• Perform image acquisition, processing, and quality control for diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and effective communication with patients and staff.
