Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to independently perform radiographic exams and adhere to ACR imaging standards while upholding safety and quality in a high-tech imaging environment using PACS.

The role requires completing an accredited Radiology Technology program, Massachusetts radiologic technologist licensure with ARRT registry eligibility (certification within 12 months), and BLS.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT registry eligible; ARRT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations following department protocols and ALARA standards.
• Enters examinations correctly and documents findings for proper charging and interpretation.
• Electrically sends and stores images and data in PACS; maintains accurate department records and logs.
• Ensures safe, clean work environment and coordinates with supervisor to maintain staffing levels.
