Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Texas seeks a Nuclear Medicine Tech for a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). Under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform radiographic procedures and apply isotopes for diagnostic imaging.

Required are a TX MTR license, ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire. The hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR State of Texas license.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs general radiographic procedures.
• Uses Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates radiation safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
