Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals. You will perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under physician guidance, ensuring radiographic quality and patient safety across in-patient and out-patient populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR State of Texas
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• ACLS provider within 6 months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes general radiographic procedures.
• Performs at a technical level requiring independent judgment to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis.
• Conducts tests in-patients and out-patients; utilizes Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals/radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine scope.
• Demonstrates radiation safety and performs other duties as assigned
