Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the Heart & Spine Hospitals team. Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform diagnostic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment to support patient care in a high-volume setting.

This role requires Texas MTR licensure, ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, and commitment to radiation safety. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within the HCA

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Texas MTR license.
• ARRT NM or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes radiographic procedures.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients using isotopes for diagnostic imaging.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Maintains radiation safety and other duties as assigned.
