Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform radiologic procedures and manage isotopes under a physician's guidance. You will work with Nuclear Medicine cameras, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and uphold radiation safety standards in a high-volume tertiary care setting.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB or NMT certification, MRT Texas, ARRT(NM) or NMTCB, NMTCB PET preferred, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT).
• MRT Texas license.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB Certification.
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis.
• Perform tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrate radiation safety.
