Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform radiographic procedures under a physician's guidance. You will handle isotopes, operate nuclear medicine cameras, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to the Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.

Requirements include a CAHEA-accredited program, Texas MTR license, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA accredited nuclear medicine program preferred.
• Texas licensure as MTR required.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required; PET certification preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures as assigned.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Conduct tests for in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrate radiation safety and comply with regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
