Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and perform a range of diagnostic exams. The role requires ARRT Nuclear Technology or equivalent certification and at least 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience.

The position is PRN with up to 40 hours per week, offering access to Wellstar's CareerCare program for fully funded education and guided career progression.

Qualifications

• Assists with providing safe, age-appropriate patient care.
• Maintains imaging quality and adheres to department procedures.
• Demonstrates independent judgment in procedures and patient management.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts technique to obtain best study while preserving image quality.
• Performs preprocedural verification and patient preparation.
• Transmits studies to PACS and maintains documentation in RIS.
• Restocks supplies and ensures department cleanliness and readiness.
