Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technician for a full-time day shift. The role involves performing Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under physician supervision, handling radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring radiation safety across in-pacients and out-patients.

The position requires Texas licensure (MTR), ARRT NM, NMTCB, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Experience with Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT NM certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
• NMTCB certification is required; NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• State license: MTR Texas required.
• CAHEA-accredited Nuclear Medicine program or school completion preferred.
• BLS certification current; ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures using varied Nuclear Medicine equipment.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment and initiative.
• Perform tests for in-patients and out-patients; operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice; ensure radiation safety.
• Other duties as assigned
