Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician for a full-time, day-shift role within the Nuclear Medicine Department. The technician will perform a range of Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under physician supervision, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety.

The position requires a Texas MTR license, ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, and current BLS/ACLS. Preferred PET certification and CAHEA-accredited training are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine program or CAHEA-accredited school.
• Current MTR license with the State of Texas.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required; PET certification preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certifications current or within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performs Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.
• Utilizes Nuclear Medicine cameras and radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging.
• Adheres to radiation safety practices and quality control procedures.
• Demonstrates professional accountability and patient care in all procedures.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
