Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician for a full-time daytime role in the Dallas area. The technician will perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging under physician supervision, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• MTR Texas license.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures as assigned.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and ensures radiation safety.
• Demonstrates initiative and independent judgment in applying isotopes for radiographic diagnosis.
• Other duties as assigned.
