Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join a leading healthcare system. The role involves performing PET studies and radiographic procedures under physician supervision, with patient-centered care and strict radiation safety.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB/NMT, a Texas MRT license, ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification, and BLS. PET certification is preferred, with opportunities within a large hospital network.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT).
• MRT license in Texas.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB Certification.
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures.
• Applies isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with a high degree of independent judgment.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates industry standard radiation safety.
