Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technician for a full-time, day-shift role at the Texas facility. The position involves performing Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under physician supervision, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and patient care.

Qualified candidates will hold Texas MTR licensure, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification, and BLS. PET certification and ACLS within 6 months are preferred/required.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Radiation Technologist (MTR) license or registration in good standing.
• AR RT (NM) or NMTCB certification required for Nuclear Medicine technologists.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred for advanced imaging.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures as assigned.
• Performs imaging with Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment with a high degree of independent judgment.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and ensures safety protocols in radiopharmacology.
• Maintains compliance with Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice and radiation safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Education

MTR State of Texas

ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification

NMTCB PET certification preferred

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider

ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date
