Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician. You will administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate nuclear medicine cameras, applying radiation safety principles and quality standards to support patient care.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB or NMT credential, is a State Registered Radiologic Technician, and has BLS with ACLS within 6 months. Certification in NMTCB PET is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS (ACLS within 6 months) required or in progress.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or NMT-AART (NM).
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related equipment with high independence.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure radiation safety standards.
• Perform tests in in-patients and out-patients as required.
• Apply quality, safety, and protocol adherence in imaging procedures.
