Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to support our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform radiographic procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and operate Nuclear Medicine cameras under physician supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality imaging, and regulatory compliance.

The position requires BCLS and ACLS within 6 months, state radiologic licensure, and NMTCB or NMT‑AART credentials. PET certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BCLS required.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential required.
• Certified NMTCB or NM NMT‑AART (NM) credential required; PET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs radiographic procedures.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients with a high degree of independent judgment.
• Uses Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
