Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to accurately position patients, prepare for complex procedures, and assist physicians with special studies.
You will handle contrast media administration and ensure high-quality PACS submissions while maintaining safety protocols. The role requires BLS within 30 days, relevant credentialing (NMTCB/ARRT or Indiana DOH), and a high school diploma with experience.

Accurately position patients, select parameters, and implement radiation safety.
Prepare for, perform, and assist physicians with special procedures.
Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (with correct markers and patient data).
Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department environment.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Or credentialed from the Indiana State Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
