Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Associate Manager to lead design efforts for power uprates at nuclear facilities. You will mentor engineers, oversee project execution, and contribute to safety and efficiency improvements across plant systems.

Ideal candidates hold a mechanical engineering degree with 3+ years in power generation or nuclear design, possess strong communication, and are willing to travel up to 25% to client sites while advancing technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of design engineering experience in power generation or nuclear power.
• EIT or PE license preferred
• Experience in mechanical system design, thermal-hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, or nuclear plant modifications
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to motivate team and achieve goals through positive, winning attitude and effective leadership style
• Proven experience with a high level of decision making, directing and overseeing routine and advanced technical work performed by others
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant
• US Citizenship required
• Required to travel up to 15 - 25% of the time to client sites (expected to travel at least one time per month) for project and/or marketing meetings
