Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Associate Manager to join our nuclear engineering team.

You will contribute to evaluating and implementing power uprates at nuclear facilities, helping to increase reactor output safely and efficiently while providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers. You will collaborate with senior SMEs on comprehensive plant upgrade projects, gaining exposure to thermal-hydraulic systems and plant modifications while developing into a leadership role

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering in power generation or nuclear power.
  • EIT or PE license preferred.
  • Experience in mechanical system design, thermal-hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, or nuclear plant modifications.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate team and achieve goals through positive, winning attitude and effective leadership style.
  • Proven experience with a high level of decision making, directing and overseeing routine and advanced technical work performed by others.
  • Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Travel up to 15 - 25% of the time to client sites (at least once per month).
