Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Power Uprate Civil Engineer to guide complex nuclear power uprate projects, mentor staff, and ensure safe, compliant implementation across the U.S. This leadership role emphasizes technical depth, collaboration, and cross-discipline coordination.

You will travel up to ~10%, lead design studies, review modifications, and communicate findings to clients and project teams while advancing safety and reliability in nuclear facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of civil/structural design experience in nuclear or power generation.
• Experience evaluating structural impacts of major equipment upgrades and power uprates preferred.
• Experience with concrete, steel, seismic and structural analysis.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers.
• US Citizenship required.
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed.
