Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Mechanical Associate Manager to join our growing team of nuclear professionals. In this role, you'll contribute to the evaluation and implementation of power uprates at nuclear facilities, helping to increase reactor output safely and efficiently, while also providing technical leadership, mentoring developing engineers, and supporting project execution.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to a wide range of technical challenges and project scopes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering in power generation or nuclear power.
• EIT or PE license preferred.
• Experience in mechanical system design, thermal-hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, or nuclear plant modifications.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate team and achieve goals through positive, winning attitude and effective leadership style.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.
• US Citizenship required.
• Travel up to 15 - 25% of the time to client sites (expected to travel at least one time per month).
