Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Mechanical Associate Manager in San Luis Obispo to contribute to evaluating and implementing power uprates at nuclear facilities, increasing reactor output safely and efficiently while providing technical leadership.

You will mentor developing engineers, support project execution, and collaborate with experienced engineers across design, thermal-hydraulic systems, and plant modifications; with growth toward technical or people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering in power generation or nuclear power.
• EIT or PE license preferred.
• Experience in mechanical system design, thermal-hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, or nuclear plant modifications.

• Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of power uprates at nuclear facilities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Support project execution and client interactions on uprate projects.
