Sargent & Lundy seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer Intern to join a project team on power plant systems and work under senior engineers to apply control theory and automation concepts.

The role develops skills in digital controllers, sensors, and automation while contributing to design upgrades and project documentation. Summer 2027 start with opportunities for learning and advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering with control systems coursework.
• ABET accreditation preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Support project reporting, tracking progress and data.
