Job summary

Sargent & Lundy invites engineers to join a multi‑discipline team working on nuclear power plant instrumentation and controls projects. You will contribute to electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering, performing specifications, calculations, and design reviews with opportunities for field verification.

Eligible candidates will have an engineering degree with control systems coursework and strong communication skills; travel to client sites and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science degree in engineering with a strong academic background and coursework in analog and digital control systems, systems engineering, mechatronics, or robotics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Valued but not required: ABET-accredited degree
• FE exam completion and Engineer in Training designation are preferred

Responsibilities

• Work on a multi-discipline engineering team on nuclear power plant instrumentation and controls projects
• Prepare specifications for procurement of instrumentation and control equipment and perform engineering calculations
• Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and plant site verifications
• Engage in mentoring, technical sessions, and on-the-job training to grow engineering skills
