Job summary

Battelle Energy Alliance seeks an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to shape the modernization of nuclear power plants at Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls. The role emphasizes digital technologies, RD&D execution, and collaboration with industry, academia and government partners.

You will develop models, validate designs, and publish results while mentoring staff and contributing to IP creation and technology transfer.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ABET-accredited engineering or related field with required experience.
• Experience with digital I&C systems design, analysis or evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in RD&D projects advancing digital technologies for nuclear power.
• Coordinate with researchers, operators, vendors and regulators to meet project goals.
• Publish results and prepare technical reports and proposals.
