Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in the Nuclear Power Group is expanding its Instrumentation and Controls engineering staff to support digitization of existing plants and new SMR projects.

You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and control engineers, prepare I&C specifications and calculations, mentor junior staff, and travel to client and site locations for design reviews and field verification.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Mechatronics coursework desired but not required.
• Strong academic background with coursework in analog and digital control systems.

Responsibilities

• Work on multi-discipline team for instrumentation and controls projects in nuclear plants.
• Prepare functional requirements and procurement specs for I&C equipment.
• Prepare I&C engineering calculations and design input documentation.
