ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to support the Nuclear Design Group. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design I&C plant components, PLCs and DCS for safe, reliable power facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with design of I&C plant components and controls systems including PLCs and DCS.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship is required due to Federal Contract Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop Engineering Deliverables: Produce precise and error-free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
• Set the Standard: Develop engineering documents that meet client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements, adhering to processes that guarantee excellence.
• Stay on the Cutting Edge: Continuously enhance your expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.
• Drive Quality & Precision: Deliver exceptional engineering solutions that align with rigorous quality assurance programs.
• Cultivate Strong Client Connections: Build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication and delivery of superior results.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs.
• Provide Field Support: Engage on-site with client personnel, perform plant walkdowns, ensure all structures meet high engineering standards.
