Enercon Services, Inc. is recruiting an Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to support the Nuclear Design Group.

This full-time role spans mid-level to principal tracks with opportunities to lead and mentor others, advancing through training and technical leadership. The position involves designing I&C components, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and improving plant reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with design of I&C plant components and controls systems including PLCs and DCS.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government projects (DOE) directly or via engineering firms.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering deliverables: drawings, calculations, and analyses meeting codes, standards, and client expectations.
• Set engineering documents to surpass client and regulatory requirements, ensuring process excellence.
• Stay current with industry codes, safety culture, and advanced design techniques.
• Drive quality and precision under QA programs and elevate project performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs meeting project requirements.
• Provide field support with on-site plant walkdowns and on-site verification of structures, systems, and components.
