Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is hiring an Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to support the Nuclear Design Group in Glendale, AZ. The role involves designing I&C components, PLCs and DCS, and ensuring safe, compliant operation of nuclear facilities.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide on-site field support as needed. The candidate should have a relevant engineering degree, 3+ years of I&C design experience, and US citizenship per federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing I&C plant components and controls systems (PLC and DCS).
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract.

• Set the standard: create engineering documents that meet external/regulatory requirements.
