Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. invites an Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group in a full-time capacity. You will develop I&C drawings, analyses, and documentation for safe and reliable nuclear power facilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

We value experience with PLCs and DCS, must have at least 3 years in I&C plant components, and U.S. citizenship due to federal contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or similar Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with design of I&C plant components and controls systems including PLCs and DCS.
• Must have experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Stay on the Cutting Edge: Continuously enhance your expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques, staying ahead in the dynamic nuclear sector.
• Drive Quality & Precision: Deliver exceptional engineering solutions that align with rigorous quality assurance programs and consistently raise the bar for project performance.
• Cultivate Strong Client Connections: Build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication, professional engagement, and the consistent delivery of superior engineering results.
