The role combines strategic direction with hands-on oversight and stakeholder engagement across multiple offices. The position requires 25–40% overnight travel and a strong track record in leading large engineering organizations, regulatory compliance, and advanced nuclear programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Nuclear, or related engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; advanced technical certifications or graduate degree preferred.
• 25+ years of engineering experience in commercial nuclear, design, analysis, licensing, modifications, or plant operations.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing large (100+) size engineering organizations or teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Fire Protection Chief Analysis Teams.
• Lead engineering governance and reviews to support regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Engage with utilities, regulators, and industry groups to grow ENERCON's nuclear portfolio.
• Lead and mentor Chief Engineers and discipline leads across multiple office locations.
• Collaborate with directors and operations leadership to support project execution and innovation.
