Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own and manage the audit program under our nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

The role requires 5+ years in nuclear QA with hands-on auditing, and a current or near-term NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification. Travel to sites and vendor facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Qualified in NQA-1 Lead Auditor or eligible within 90 days.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; conduct internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance/exit meetings, findings, report; supervise auditors.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend actions to the approved supplier list.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support other program audits.
