Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to manage the audit program under our nuclear QA framework. You will plan annual schedules, lead internal and supplier audits, and ensure actions close with objective evidence.

Independence from audited work is essential as is documenting findings clearly for NRC inspectors. The role requires 5+ years in nuclear QA, and qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or eligibility within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Qualified as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or eligible within 90 days.
• Hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend approved-supplier-list changes and perform surveillance.
• Maintain qualification records and support audits of our program.
