Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and manage the audit program under our nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and produce reports while verifying corrective actions to closure.

The role requires current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualifications or eligibility within 90 days, 5+ years in nuclear QA, and strong audit report writing. Travel to project sites and client facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days; written examination per NQA-1 Part II Subpart 2.23.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• ASQ CQA is a plus; ability to write objective, auditable reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end: notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend approved-supplier-list changes and perform surveillances.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits of our program.
