Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and manage the nuclear QA audit program. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, and write audit reports with action closure based on objective evidence.

The role requires NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or readiness within 90 days, 5+ years in nuclear QA, and strong knowledge of applicable regulations. Travel and field audits are involved.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days with documented auditing training.
• 5+ years in nuclear QA with hands-on auditing of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21 and NQA-1.
• Knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA is a plus.
• Ability to write audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without review.
• Comfort delivering findings to responsible personnel.

Responsabilités

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program including internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end—notification, checklist, entrance/exit meetings, evidence, findings, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage supplier file reviews.
• Classify findings, issue corrective actions, verify effectiveness and close with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support additional audits.
